Spin Class Cancelled.

So not that all of you need or want to know every detail of my life..but if you read this blog regularly you already are so embedded in my life that you MUST know this..

MY SPIN CLASS GOT CANCELLED. The one that I had scheduled for this Sunday from 9am-6pm in Williamsburg, VA to GET CERTIFIED!

The one that I have been preparing for, ohh you know.. the past 8 months, the reason I have been getting up at 5:30am and doubling up on spin classes during the week, the one that has pushed me to almost 150 hours of spinning in the last few months, the reason I bought $80 shoes and new workout leggings.. CANCELLED.

And this is the email we get:

Attention to all participants who are registered to attend the G.E.A.R. Indoor Cycling in Williamsburg, VA.

We regret to inform you that this workshop has been cancelled.

As an alternative to this onsite workshop, we offer the majority of our workshops in a convenient online format that may be taken on-demand from the comfort of your home or office, 24/7. We currently have the following workshops in an online format (more coming soon)! And of course Cycling isn't one of them!!!

I am sure all of you have stopped reading since you could actually careless if I get certified or not..but honestly this is huge. Everyone who has interacted with me in the past 6 months knows I have been killing it on the spin bike and looking forward to this.

ON TOP of that..the cycle studio that I love and would love to work at is hiring..I emailed the Owner yesterday and set up a time next week with her to meet and go over what I would need to do to become a spin instructor. NOPE not anymore.

ON TOP of that they don't offer a class until February.. Getting certified was part of my 2014 New Year's Resolution..I make one every year that is a challenge both mentally and physically..THANKS AFAA there goes a year of working hard to NOT achieve my resolution!

I hope most of you are brainstorming on what I can do, I already looked at some other organizations/gyms that offer classes and of course they are either sold out, more than 3 hours away, or WAY more expensive than my little wallet can handle..

AND to end this rant, here is the final question..do I ask for my money back after having a heated, but polite, but mostly heated argument with AFAA and take my money elsewhere or do I deal with it and sign up for the February class that is the cheapest and the closest..

#mylife.
